Grant Requests from Individuals less than £2,000
Criteria for Grants Below £2000
Applications are welcome from individuals for help with health and wellbeing needs that are not currently met by the Local Authority or Health Authority. Individuals must be from the parish of Berkswell or the surrounding area ‘The Area of Benefit’. These criteria must be met but the Trustees would encourage you to discuss the application with the clerk should clarification be required on any point.

3. What items cannot be funded?
Berkswell Charities will not fund items that may be statutorily provided by the Government or the Local Authority
4. How much can I apply for?
This application form is for grants up to a maximum of £2000
Applications should be submitted online using the form below.
The following information is required to support applications. NB grants will only be made on the basis of financial need and evidence of such is required.
Failure to supply sufficient documentary evidence in support may jeopardise your application and delay a decision.
1. Copy photographic identification
2. Evidence of income from all sources to include at the very least your last 3 months' pay slips, last 3 months bank statements and if self-employed your last set of accounts and tax return. Evidence of any savings in the United Kingdom or elsewhere
3. Evidence of any property owned in the United Kingdom or elsewhere
4. Evidence of any other assets
5. Evidence of any debts you may have
6. Evidence of your monthly outgoings
7. Evidence why financial assistance is sought from Berkswell Charities
7. Application consideration
The Trustees will endeavour to consider all applications at the meeting after the application is received but as they only meet every 6 to 8 weeks applicants should find out from the clerk when the next meeting will be held as applications will not be considered between meetings unless circumstances are exceptional.
